Teaching
In 2020 I became a certified educator and began a new journey

The begining
COVID
My teaching journey started during the pandemic. I had just completed my CELTA qualification, and I was thrown into the world of online teaching. My first professional teaching job was at Alethea International School in Sri Lanka. I quickly adapted to this new reality and became savvy with a diverse range of online teaching platforms.

2022
Lecturing for NCUK
I joined the Asia Pacific Institute for Information Technology as an English lecturer. My students, aged 15-25, were learning to readjust to in person learning, just as I was adjusting again too.

2023
The Catalyst
After working at APIIT for about a year, I noticed that the students lacked creativity in their academic lives. Thus, I established a Media club: The Catalyst. It originally started as a University newspaper but quickly grew to encompass various media, writing, and artistic projects. One to note would be "KAGURA", Sri Lanka's first inter-university film
festival.
